Can we have two different workflows for 'service catalog request' based on whether the item is hardware and software?

Hi,

Currently service catalog request workflow has a single flow for 1 request (considering all the items whether they are hardware or software) , Is there any other way that I can have two different workflows based on the items category?

Thank you for the answers.


I know that there are different workflows for hardware and software (procurement) .These will be triggered when the request is approved . In my case , approval activities are different for both ,which should be done in service request workflow   i.e before procurement workflow they are different for different items.

You can give it a shot to populate values from requested item to service request and then trigger the workflow based on the req item value.


This can be achieved with BRs and call workflow from the script.
