Cart menu shown with the number in the header in employee center

Hi,

I've created this 'cart' menu in the employee center header. 

When we will add any item in the cart it should reflect with number. For instance, i added two items in the cart, 2 number should be reflected with the cart menu just like its shown in the service portal header.

How can i do this?
