Catalog - Copy variables from a submitted request or draft to submit multiple requests

Hi all,

Question if you all have an idea.

I understand cloning allows you to copy a submitted request but change the requested for only.

Is there any functionality or a documented workaround to allow the end user to either submit or save a draft of a request? This would allow the end user to more easily submit multiple requests with the same information to start with but be able to change small amounts of information as needed.

The end user would need to be able to open a saved draft of a catalog item, update it and submit it. They would then need to be able to open up that same saved draft and update it again and submit a new one again and again. Perhaps maybe 20 times.

This would help them avoid filling out the entire form from scratch each time they want to submit the same catalog item.

Anyone seen something like this before?

Thanks,

Amy

Hi Amy,

Users could add their items to the shopping cart and save their cart as a bundle.

They could save their cart as a bundle which will also save the variables.

They you use this bundle to order a set of items multiple times and change the requested for when checking out.

If you want to use this in the employee center, please keep in mind, that the shopping cart is deactivated ootb and you need to enable it in the employee center menu configuration
