Catalog Item Search

Hi All,

I have created a couple of new Catalog Items and are active in the Maintain Items table. But when I search from them in the Global Search, it says that the name does not match any items.

These items belong to an active category, no available for and not available for records for the item and the category. No search checkbox is false. Please suggest.

We got this issue fixed. The issue was because the Scheduled Job 'text index events process' was stuck.

Hi Aswin



It can take some time for the full text search engine to pick up the new items.



If you want, you can trigger a regeneration of the text index manually - Regenerate a text index for a table

You can monitor the progress by looking at the sys_metadata table under Text Indexes

The index is now regenerated and still the issue persists.
