We are using Service Now to deal with incoming customer incidents as well as internal problems and changes. The URL for both the internal portal and the external customer service portal is <instancename>.service-now.com. We want to change this so that internal users navigate to servicenow.<mycompany>.com and customers access the service portal via
support.<mycompany>.com
I've seen a few old threads that say a proxy server is required but i'm wondering if that is still the case or if there are any better options?

Dear community.
Same story here: i want to change the default url of our prod instance to servicenow.ourdomain.com
I have a Hi-Portal account, but i cannot access that previously posted KB article.
I tried to configure a cname entry in our dns, but using that cname simply takes me to the servicenow.com webpage 😉
OR
is it possible to get the cname thing to work without renaming the instance?
Any advise?
Thanks in advance
Robby

Hi Robby,
I believe you can add a custom URL now since the London release, check the documentation below:
