Content Publishing

Hello,

We are using the Employee Service Center and have begun exploring the use of the Alumni Service Center for off-network access by active employees, employees on leave and former employees.

My question is whether a content author can create a single article or video, and then publish that article or video on both the Employee Service Center and the Alumni Service Center? Ideally, only one version of the article or video would need to be created, and the author would be able to set-up delivery of the content from one interface to multiple pages and sites.

Or, do multiple copies of the article or video need to be uploaded to different knowledge bases and would this need to be done from the ASC and Employee Service Center content/ campaign management interface? In other words, we are trying to understand how much administration and management of content is required when you deploy an ASC and an Employee Service Center?

If anyone has done this or can point me to product information on this I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

Hi @Chris Davis ,

The ASC uses the same widgets as the HR Service Delivery Employee Center. For more information, see Employee Center widget instance options.

Use Content Publishing to add and display content to your ASC. For more information, see Content Publishing.

To add content as part of a campaign, use Content Automation. For more information, see Working on Campaigns.

Now, to answer your actual question about the content author can create a single article or video, and then publish that article or video on both the Employee Service Center and the Alumni Service Center?

Yes !! and the next question is how?

so, you can create 2 different users criteria/ Audience and assign the content these User criteria/Audience to the video/Article  content, something like this :

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thank you, Sandeep!

If a content author can work from one UI and publish to two different portals (Employee Service Center and Alumni Service Center) and designate which users/audience have access to the content that is really good to hear!!

Thanks for the links and screen shot.
