Deleting Chat Threads/Messages

Hi,

Our Chat Listing has got extremely large, very quickly, I have deleted some redundant chat rooms, but dont have the delete option to remove Threads/Messages. I am setup with Chat Admin, Does anyone know why i am unale to delete these. Also, is it possible to schedule a cleanup on a monthly basis via an event ?

Hi Tara,

I was just noticing the same situation on our instance, where old Help Desk chat sessions are holding an open room for no apparent reason.

There are tables for chat under the Social IT application, they are probably restricted to the system admin if you can not see them: http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Chat#Accessing_Chat_Tables

Hi Tara, I know this is an old thread, but I'm just about to implement Chat and am browsing around the wiki.

Did you manage to find an answer to this?   I expected the Chat Channel to be closed when both participants leave, but it doesn't seem to do this...
