To reference users, ServiceNow uses First_Name + Last_ Name, we have many users that their display name (in Outlook, for example) is totally different from their names and user ID.
So were able to import the Display Name from AD to ServiceNow and transform correctly. Fields like Assigned To, Caller, etc are getting the Display Name correctly.
This was the original thread:
https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=356455fedb253f00fece0b55ca96...
The question we are facing now is how to force the Journal entries to shown the user's Display Name instead of First_Name + Last_ Name.
Now I have no clue where to make the journals to show, anyone ever tried or know where to start?
Thanks,

Maybe.
If that is the case should we have this documented anywhere?

Hi,
So if I understand you better then you Display Name field has Display value set as True. Correct me if this is not the case.
Thanks,

No, Jaspal.
We have users that are know in the whole company as (example): Joe Doe
ServiceNow uses First + Last names, making Joe Doe appear as John Doe. In cases like this example would be easy to know that John Doe is actually Joe Doe.
But in cases, where the display name for that person is totally different makes hard to understand who updated what.
Example: Fabiano Lucena is actually Luiz Lucena.
