Email Notification not sent.

Hi,

I have created an email notification and it should be sent when new record is inserted in table relocation.

When a new record is created, email notification is not getting sent and remains at outbox.

Would appreciate your help on this.

It sounds like email is not sending at all...to any user...from any module...from that instance.  If that's the case you probably need to enable email sending in your system properties.

It should be.  Can the user you're sending to receive other email notifications?  For example, do they receive incident assignment notifications, etc.?

I checked and the user is not receiving email notification for Incident assignment notification. It is getting saved in Outbox. Note- The state field is Ready and not processed in the outbox.

Also do i need to select any category for Category field?

 

Are there any users that are receiving mail from your instance? If so can you try assigning to them to see if the notification goes out?

I tried to sent to my personal email ID, but still it is moving to outbox.
