Unable to Trigger Security Center Threshold Notification manually for testing

Hi Everyone,

 

I Have configured Security Center metrics with thresholds and set up PA Threshold Notification to send alerts to me. Currently, I am receiving the notification automatically every day at 5 PM as expected.

 

However, for testing purposes, I want to manually trigger the notification instead of waiting for the scheduled time.

 I tried the following:

  • Executing the related Scheduled Job
  • Running the indicator job

But I am not receiving the threshold notification when I do this.

 

Could anyone please help clarify:

  • What is the correct way to manually trigger a Security Center threshold notification?
  • Is there a specific job or process that needs to be executed?
  • Are there additional conditions that must be met for the notification to fire?
