Email Notification not sent.

Hi,

I have created an email notification and it should be sent when new record is inserted in table relocation.

When a new record is created, email notification is not getting sent and remains at outbox.

Would appreciate your help on this.

It sounds like email is not sending at all...to any user...from any module...from that instance.  If that's the case you probably need to enable email sending in your system properties.

If it's in the outbox the notification is probably working correctly.  You can check if the 'Send to event creator' checkbox on the notification is checked and that the user you are sending to can receive emails from other places in the system.

Thank you for the response. However when i am selecting send when option as "Record inserted or updated", i do not see 'Send to event creator' option. Please refer the file i have attached for reference and assist me.

Make sure you're looking at the advanced view of your notification, then you should see the field under the 'Who will receive' tab.  You may not be receiving your notification simply because it's trying to send it to you.

Hi Mark,

I have now changed the view to advanced and checked 'Send to event creator' but still the notification is in outbox.

Ideally it should be available in the sent item..right?
