Enabling a Plugin... do you need to use Update Sets?

I tried to enable a Plugin in my Dev environment while having an update set open.

It didn't record any changes.

Is a plugin something that I can just turn on in live without using Update sets at all? Or did I miss something?

You don't need update sets to activate plugins.

Well how do I transfer the activation to another instance then?

Hi Jiri,

you need to activate plugins seperately on each instance. Plugins cannot be recorded into an update set and afterwards be transferred.
