I am facing file parsing error while importing word document to create knowledge   article.

What are the checks i need to successfully import a word doc ?

Because i can import few documents and some i cant.

Also to add.,

-   I understand that this has been promised to be fixed with Geneva with PRB666185. But I still face this error.

-   My instance is of Helsinki version.

-   I have inspected the document and found there are no errors.

- The File size is less than the permissible limit.

This got fixed automatically when i downgraded the .docx format to .doc . there were some special characters showed up in the .doc format . (This was not visible in the .docx format and it passed the document inspection option available in the MS word).

I have the same issue with Geneva and was advised to ensure the Word doc was saved down to v97.   It's still doing some odd things but it resolved the parsing error issue.

This issue should get addressed once you upgrade to Helsinki Patch 1 (expected to be released very soon)
