Geeting 'No readable comment field' on portal for a record producer ticket

Hi

I have a custom table and form created and a record producer for the table. It has custom scope and not extending any other table.

When i submit the form after filling the fields, i don't see any field on the form, instead i just get ' No readable comment field' even for admin

I need some fields and their values here

YOu usually get this section in OOB for addtional comments and not for fields. 

For adding additional fields you would have to customize the widget which is showing Number ,Created and

Updated....

Hi. Thanks for your response. I am able to get the fields at the right but still getting the message 'No readable comment field'. Can you please tell me the field/field type i need to create to store the comments.

Can you do ctrl+right click on the place where you are getting this message and check the widget code in editor , verify from the code it is coming from which condition and if it seems irrelevant so remove it else configure it in such a way by logic that it doesn't appear on normal' cases only when some roles are not there then only show this

Hi Chenab,

You have to clone the OOB widget and add the fields you need in the server script of the widget and then add the cloned widget to the ticket page.
