GlideMultipleUpdate is not triggering Business rule

I have BR which triggerss when record in table is update. Business Rule (BR) isn't firing when I update records in the  table using GlideMultipleUpdate. However, it works perfectly when I update records with GlideRecord.

Is this expected behavior, or am I missing a configuration or setting?
