Global Search Results Sorting Order

There is a Knowledge Base property (glide.knowman.order.search) that allows the results to be sorted based on these possible selections Relevancy , Number of Views , Last Modified.

 

However, these properties only seem to apply to the Knowledge Search and not the Global Text Search.

 

Is there any way to apply a different sorting order to the Knowledge search results from Global text search ?

go to System Definition > Search Groups or click the "Edit Search Groups" link at the top of the search results page.


Click Knowledge (or the name of the group that houses the Knowledge search).


Under Text Search Tables you should see kb_knowledge tables.


Click it and review the Conditions. Ensure you have at least the following conditions:


  • Workflow state is Published
  • Active is True
  • Valid to after Yesterday
