Google Chrome crashing when a list view loads on MacOS

When using the latest Chrome stable release (90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (x86_64)) on MacOS Big Sur (11.3.1 (20E241)), I have been experiencing frequent crashes of Google Chrome when a list view in ServiceNow loads. It doesn't crash every time a list view loads, but it's frequent enough to be a major issue. The entire browser (not just a tab or window) completely crashes and I must relaunch the app afterwards. This seems to happen more frequently if the list view has grouped results, but not always. It can happen when looking at a list, a form with a related list, or a list-based report. There haven't been any changes in the ServiceNow environments I use recently. The only change I know of is that I got the Chrome update the week of 4/26/2021. MacOS had been updated 3/23/2021 (11.2.3) and then 5/4/2021 (11.3.1). This issue started the week of 4/26, if I remember correctly.

I know others have been experiencing this, but has anyone been able to determine the cause or a fix? I doubt it's anything that ServiceNow did recently (this happens in Paris and Quebec for me), but I'm guessing it's related to the latest stable Chrome version.

I have same issue,

Disabling accessibility seems to make this happens less often (or perhaps placebo effect). I can reproduce this on demand. Open a list view, right click a field (like active) and select "show matching", and my chrome goes bye bye. This has been happening for 6+ weeks now (i.e. a few versions of chrome), I initially thought it is just me as no one else have the issue. When i go into incognito mode, it seems to work. I've deleted ALL cache, but that didn't fix it either

same thing has been happening to me for a few months. For me it almost always happens when I hit enter after typing something into a column header search field.  Except for the last few days it’s starting to happen much much more frequently and on random list loads

I use six different chrome profiles for different instances so migrating to firefox will be painful.  Hope SN can fix this soon!

Same issue on both Intel and M1 Macs. Still unresolved but using firefox at least for development.
