Hi @RadhaV ,
You are in a situation where you have an existing test case and want to move it to an update-set?
In case Shaqueel's answer does not help, once you have a current update set:
- go to the test itself and deactivate, update and reactivate
- change the step number of the first step to be your last step, then revert
Make sure your update set captures:
- 1 sys_atf_test_xxxx per test
- x sys_atf_step_xxxx per steps of your test
Make sure your test still works before completing the update-set.
Regards,
Philippe

hi @RadhaV
Create a update set and make it current.
Go to the test and click Add it to update set
Go to update set and mark it complete.

OOTB ATF Tests and the Test Steps get auto captured in your selected update set because update_synch=true is already there in Collection type field
Is that not happening in your instance?
See if someone removed that

Hi @RadhaV
- Create and set your desired update set as the current update set.
- Open the Test: Navigate to Automated Test Framework > Tests and open the test case you want to move, Click on Add to update set.
Refer: KB0825608:Capture an existing ATF Test or Suite in a new update set
