How to add banner image in email?

I want to add custom banner image in my emails. How can I do that? Please guide me.

As per my understanding you don't want to open individual email and add the image?

If my understanding correct - I don't think it is possible at once as every notification might have its own template,emails script or header from notification itself. What you can do is create email script for header and call it in every notification.

Nice suggestion, but i want to update the current banner image for the emails. And I am not able to find out where it is located or created? If I found that that will be easy to update the image so it will be fix. I checked notification, templets, layout. but not getting clue.

Usually banner image added by 2 ways in notification

- using mail script

- insert image directly 

Could you provide screen shot of your notification(What it will contain section), so we can help you here.
