How to add the Smily / Sad and Neutral Happy Faces (Surveys) directly into the email

Hello,

Customer has requested that the Happy / Sad / Neutral faces to be placed into the email when an incident / requested item is resolved or closed respectively.  They want to reduce the number of clicks so that users will give feedback on surveys. They want these faces to appear on the resolved / clsoed email notification so they dont have to open the link to a survey and then submit this.

Has anyone done this before? I have been told by the customer he saw this in his previous work.

Many thanks

Hi @Jazz ,

Here are instructions on how to add an Emoji response to a Survey/Assessment question.

1. Download emoji files to your computer or accessible file location

2. In the Survey Designer, drag the "Image Scale" control to the canvas.

3. From the control properties, scroll down to the "Image Choices" section.

4. Select the ">" icon to view the expanded properties for each response.

5. In the expanded properties, upload the appropriate emoji file for each response.

In preview you will see each of the emoji responses listed horizontally along with the text from the Question property. Each Emoji and text acts like a button selection.

Hello Sandeep,

Will these images appear on the email? We have surveys already with Emoji faces, where the user gets an email to a link to a survey which then opens a survey in ServiceNow and they can see the emoji faces.

What I need is to show these faces IN the email and when they click, it updates ServiceNow itself.

Hi @Jazz ,

My previous answer was survey specific for emails , refer to this thread :

Thank you so much Sandeep, I will work on this this week and I may have more questions later on but this does get me started !

Thanks
