We have a Return to Draft button that anyone with the Knowledge Admin role can use to make that KA appear in the My Group's Knowledge list for the Owners. Someone on that team assigns the draft to themself, makes the change and clicks a Request Approval button to send it back through the workflow.

Hi Stephanie:
I was looking for more like, the 'State' will automatically change to the 'Draft' State, when some one edits the published article. Is it possible to do?
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards

We have a submission process whereby only Knowledge Publishers can edit KAs. When they do and make changes, we have the system check (upon save) if they are the group that owns the document. if they are not, then the KA stays in draft and comes to KM for review/approval. This keeps folks from updating another group's documentation.
Not sure if this is exactly what you are going for. Our integration partner built a submission/approval workflow that included this logic. So in a simple answer, yes, I am sure the system will perform that "trick".

Hi Simon:
How does the system check? do you have some BR?
When you say, group, do you mean to say, you have groups for each category of KAs?
could you please clarify on these two points.
Kind regards
