How to create/remove Knowledge Base Featured content, Keywords

Hi There!

When I added keywords under Knowledge Base>Featured Content tab in   our"Dev" instance [ version: Istanbul ], I noticed they got captured in the Update Set I had on. Do keywords need to be first created in Dev and then brought into Prod through update sets? The Keywords are associated with an Article so does it mean Articles need to also be created in Dev and then brought to Prod.

Also   how does one remove Featured content? The feature article is currently pinned with "homepage" keyword. To "un-feature" should I   delete the "homepage" keyword in the Featured Content tab.

Thanks ahead!

Hi,

Please refer the below Blog on the same topic which may be useful:

Hi,

Thanks for sending the blog links but the blog has no mention of Update Sets. When I pinned an article in Dev, the keywords were captured in an update set.

My question is - do keywords need to be created in Dev first and then transferred via Update Sets?

Thanks!

I may have found the answer following another blog on System Definition>Dictionary Entries>update_synch attribute. If update_synch=true for kb_keywords then it will get captured in an update set. Since keywords are data, should this be be set to false?
