How to enable AI Search on PDI instance

I want to validate AI Search on a PDI instance.
I requested to enable it from AI Search> AI Search Status.
However, even after a few days, the requesting status continues.
The PDI environment is patch 5 of version Quebec.
I contacted Now Support, but since it's a PDI instance, I was able to proceed with the Community.

How do I enable AI Search on my PDI instance?

Hi Tatsuya,

I had the same concern but i don't think you can make it work in PDI.

However you will get an option to enable it but eventually it won't be actually working. Frankly, am behind this for past 5 months but still doesn't work for PDI.

Hi Anu i am trying to enable ai search in my company instance i followed all the steps from service-now document but ai search is now working in portal can you help me to solve this issue the search in portal is looking like this it doesn't even showing search icon too

Hi Sunil,

If you had customized the search widget before upgrade (e.g: cloned it) then you would have to run the fix script to make it AI Search compatible.

Reclassify cloned or customized search widgets

I understand that AI Search is not available for PDI instances.

I too would like to enable AI search in PDI.
So I requested AI Search status from Filter Navigator.
After many days, it is still in Request Status.

In Japanese:
私もAI検索をPDIで有効にしたいと思っていました。
そこで、Filter NavigatorのAI Search Statusからリクエストしました。
何日経ってもRequest Statusのままです。
