How to set 'Valid to' date 1 year from 'Published' date in a knowledge article?

I would like to set the 'Valid to' date out 1 year from the 'Published' date in a knowledge article.

Currently, 'Valid to' is set to the default of 2020-01-01.

We are using the Approval/Publish and Approval/Retire workflow.

Is this best done through 'Configure Dictionary' for 'Valid to' or through a business rule.

Thanks

Hi Cindy,

We have a feature that helps you to do this in New York release.

We are adding a field called "Article validity" to the Knowledge base. This field accepts an input in days. So if you set it to 365 days, any article that you create in that Knowledge base will have their valid_to set to published date + 365 days. Also you can set different article validity for each knowledge base. In addition, if you publish a new version of the article, the system again increments the valid_to based on the published date of the new version.

Thanks,

That sounds great. I am looking forward to the knowledge enhancements in Madrid and New York.

Can't wait to upgrade to New York later this year!
