Hi all,
I'm trying to sort the knowledge articles in alphabetical order. I know that there is a property "glide.knowman.section_sort" (and "glide.knowman.section_sort_direction") where I have to set the value to short_description. Or select Alphabetical from the Knowledge Properties page.
But the sort applied only in the old view kb_home.do as below:
When looking for KB articles into the new search feature it doesn't display the article in an alphabetical order.
Is there anything I missed?
Regards,
Anthony.

Anthony,
For the Knowledge v3 UI you can modify the system property glide.knowman.order.search, however it looks like the property only supports sorting by number of view, relevancy (default), or last modified date.
You can always submit an enhancement request for a new feature through HI.
ServiceNow KB: Requesting ServiceNow product enhancements (KB0547257)
If this is a critical issue for you, then I would recommend submitting a support incident in HI and ask for a problem to be created for this.
Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,
Thank you for the update. I hoped ServiceNow had kept the alphabetical sort that was available in the previous release. In my opinion, it's more a loss of functionality but anyway I will open a ticket on HI.
Regards,
Anthony.

Anthony, Did you ever find a resolution for this? I'm looking to do the same.

I haven't noticed that until a user complained or asked for it. Has anyone found a solution?
