Dear all,
I am actually learning ServiceNow and would like to play with Mid Server in order to see how it works.
How can I test it and install it ?
Can I run it on same pc as I am browsing my dev instance ?

yes you can install mid server on your personal laptop/desktop

As I do not have dedicated server, I am using my laptop for browsing my instance and hosting the MID server.
Does the Mid Server can be hosted on same machine I am browsing ? as I do not have other VM for now...
I have seen on a video that mid server need to be install on a HOSt server ...

Hi scal,
the best thing to do is install your own Mid Server on a virtual machine (Linux is free) and follow the steps as described in the documentation Install a MID Server on Linux.
If you have Windows as operating system, have a look here for creating your Linux virtual machine:

Hi scal,
'MidServer' enables snow application to communicate with external system on the enterprise local network or in the public cloud.
Steps to install mid server:-
1) Navigate to - ITOM Guided setup - Get started
2) Create MidServer account - Download & Install MidServer Software - Choose Host Operating System (64 bit / 32 bit)
3)If Download complete - go to midserver file - extract all - open agent folder - installer - run
4) Give SNOW instance URI, Username , Password
5) Test your connection - next - start MidServer
6) Validate Midserver - configure - validate - ok
7) Add SNMP credentials - configure - create new - Choose SNMP community - submit - mark as complete
😎 Auto assign MID server IP ranges - configure - select mid server - ok - Back to guided setup - mark as complete
9) Now MidServer is ready to use
