Hi ,
I have created a variable set and have to use it multiple times in a catalog at different order.
Can I some how copy all the variables of variable set and just change name for 2nd and 3rd variable set.
I tried insert but variables are not getting copied.
Do I have to again create 2nd and 3rd variable set with same variables?
I wanted to know this to save my time and effort .
Thanks

Hi Aastha,
I don't believe we are allowed to use the same variable set more than once in the same catalog. On your post I just tried renaming the same variable set and using it in my catalog but the variables do not get copied. So I believe you have to go for different variable sets with variables having distinct values.
I will let you know here if i can get a work around for this.
Thanks,
Arnab

It means even I have to repeat same variables one after the another then also I have to create 3 different variable sets with same variables ?
Annoying..!

Hi Aastha,
If you are active in this thread then let me inform you that your above requirement is possible. I came across this Custom app in "ServiceNow ShareNow Portal "
which allows you to use a single variable set more than once in a form or catalog. Just download the app from here ServiceNow Share and run the update set in your instance. Just run the update set and you are good to go. This is cool ! What you say ?
If you are done with the above requirement, you can still keep this in your instance so that you can use it when required and be two step ahead of your colleagues.
Thanks,
Arnab
