Incident promoted to major incident and reuqiers approval process

I have a ui action for promitng an incident to major incident . If an incident is promoted to major incident then create a pop up to Approve this posting. In the Approval message, display the current Title and Summary that is pulled from the Incident. Provide the ability to edit and approve.

How can i do this functionality..Quickly  help

Greetings!!

 

I am not sure why there is need to add any extra step in promotion of MI. An incident can be promoted to MI only by MI manager and as per process once MI Manager is all sure only then he/ she promote / accept an incident as MI. 

 

Adding a pop up will not bring any value but will delay the process of promotion. 

 

What is your use case to add a pop up here?

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG  I am sorry for mentioning the requirement wrongly , basically  the ui action is just a propose to major incident button , there after it requires a approval for promoting it . Kindly help

But why approval? Bcz as I am mentioned, only MI Manager can accept / reject any proposed incident to MI no one else. This accept  / reject it self is a approval.

 

Also, whose approval you want to add?
