Is it possible to share a saved filter?

Hello,
We had a question asked from a user today about sharing her saved filters. Essentially, she doesn't want them to be public (IE visible in left nav), but she wants to be able to share them with a few users in the same application.
Does this functionality exist?

To share saved filters you have to have following role : filter_group.

You must have filter_group in your profile to share to a group.
our solution was to create Role Group Filter Group to add users.
