I created a Knowledge Publish workflow to include an additional approval for publishing KBs with certain categories. I updated the knowledge base to point to the new Knowledge Publish workflow. I can see the new workflow and updated knowledge base in my update set. When trying to preview the update, the system displays an error: 'Could not find a record in sys_data_policy2 for column data_policy referenced in this update'. The knowledge base did not contain a data policy before I updated it. So I skipped remote update and committed the update set.
The knowledge base does not contain the new published workflow. I created another update set to capture the new published workflow. Same thing happens when trying to preview the new update set.
I know that updates to knowledge records are not sometimes captured in update sets. Do I need to manually change the Published workflow to point to the new workflow in the knowledge base that needs to be updated? OR, does a data policy need to be created? If so, why? There is currently no data policy listed for this Knowledge Base in any of my instances. Thanks...

Hi there!
I have experience this issue with Knowledge Base, and what I did was I moved XML of that particular Knowledge base from 1 instance to another.
Make the changes in Knowledge Base first and save it and then try to move the XML and see if that resolves your issue.
