MID Server service will not start

We installed a Paris x64 MID server service but it will not start. The Windows log indicate that it starts then immediately shuts down. It is not reaching ServiceNow to register.

Any thoughts?

I followed these steps to install the MID Server service
> Uninstall any existing MID service
> From the ServiceNow (servicenowservices.com) download link, select the zip checkbox and download the 64 bit zip
> Extract the zip to a file that will be a main (parent) MID_Server directory
> Copy the "agent" directory and rename to the expected MID service name + _agent
> Open a cmd line as an administrator
> Navigate the cmd prompt to the [MID service]_agent directory
> run installer.bat

If the ServiceNow "Configure Instance Connectivity" screen does not appear, the issue is with server security.
