We installed a Paris x64 MID server service but it will not start. The Windows log indicate that it starts then immediately shuts down. It is not reaching ServiceNow to register.
Any thoughts?

Hi,
I also faced this issue and there was no service. So, I just executed some files.
Run agent > start.bat file.
Then go to bin folder and run below files.
InstallMID-NT.bat,
mid.bat,
startbatch.bat,
StartMID-NT.bat.
Give it a try.

The service installed previously so the InstallMID-NT.bat failed.
The mid.bat file returned an "Unexpected command" error.
The other files pop open then disappear.
MID service still will not start.

The server has no Java except for the Java included with the MID installation

Running ...agent\installer.bat returns error:
"error of type java.lang.illegalStateException occurred Error starting the installer"
