Open kb attachment

hi , 

On service portal , i would like to know if it's possible to open (in a broweser or other...) directly an attachment when i clic on an knowledge article ?

Ok so that's work on the instance but 

it's not work when i clic in the article name on service portal

that's work when i m in this article and i click on the attachment

I tried it in my personal instance, it works fine for me, in the backend and Service Portal as well, here what I did:

It works perfectly in the Service Portal as well:

yes, it's work fine for show the attachment in the article page but is not the right comportement like in backend.

In backend when you are in your knowledge base when you clic on an article the attachment is directly open.

In service portal when you clic on an article, the article is open and you need to make another clic on the attachment to open it.

 

I want the same behavior in the background as the video of the comment Rajesh Kannan Gurusamy (above)

For doing this you have to set the system property glide.knowman.serviceportal.use_document_viewer to true and check the flag Attachment link in your KB article.

I just tested it in my personal instance, it works fine in Service Portal as well.
