pop up view not working as expected

Hi 

I have changed the view for instancename.service-now.com/sys_user.do?sysparm_view=sys_popup,sp to remove some fields. I had assumed that changing this would only change the popup for Service Portal view, however no matter what view I have selected it is showing the fields I have modified for the SP view...

Essentially what I am trying to achieve is to only show a few fields for any popup to the user table when viewing via the service portal.

Any ideas?
