Removing none choice in the record producer on the portal page does not save the icon value

The choice fields in the record producer save the icons as the value in the table. But removing none choice in the portal page does not save the icons in the record producer/table records. Any solutions or work around is appreciated. Thanks.

What do you mean by icons as values? Can you share any screenshot
