Service Portal KB article does not show the images for End users

Dear Team, 

We have created multiple knowledge articles in servicenow.  We are now facing a strange problem where the images in the article could not seen when an enduser opens the article from the portal.  Instead of the images, we could see "image not loading" error icon.  Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
