I am having an issue with an OOB homepage in all our environments (dev, test, prod); trying to open Web API Usage Overview.
An error message appears when opening them claiming "Unable to find table: homepage_grid"
This issue has been noted before in the community, but there is not relevant solution that I can find.
Screenshots of homepage overview and error message. When clicking OK, the options to add fields will only create a new page for my logged on user.
Seen this before on another OOB page, but then it wasn't that important so I ignored it.

Hello Sandra,
So I am having an issue very much like this one. Screen shots provided from original post are just like mine.
Do you think the follow scenario could be the reason:
Test instance has PA plugins active - Dashboard and a Homepage were built using the information the PA plugins provide.
I created two update sets (one for dashboard and the other for the Homepage)
both update sets were retrieved and committed to Prod with no error at all.
While in Prod, I don't even see the Dashboard (that was supposed to transfer over from test to prod) when I navigate to the list of dashboards.
When I try to view the homepage we created in test, and transferred over to Prod, I get the error screen shot in original post.
plugin comparison:
Prod has the regular Performance Analytics and that is it.
Test has the regular PA along with Performance Analytics - Configuration Generator, Guided Setup for Performance Analytics. (and this one but I don't think it matters here - Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Human Resources Scoped App)
Would it be possible that this could be the issue? if a plugin is missing, then there would be missing macros correct?
Thanks in advance if you are able to answer this.
-Rob
Also - I just noticed your name. We spoke a few times already from SN HI (reference INT3422062)

I reckon log a call in Hi and we can check it for you.
It will be easier and much faster to find and pinpoint the reason when logged into both of the instances.

@Robert Sesito
Oh My Gosh, Small world! How are you Robert!
To answer your question, sometimes we see this issue if some demo data might have been removed but this is not all cases.
I have also seen this when the update set is not brought over correctly. ref: Move a dashboard tab with an update set
Note your update set should capture the Portal page and Grid Canvas (if responsive dashboards is enabled).
And most importantly as you stated, if one is moving update set from one instance that required plugins, those need to be activated before moving the update set.
There could be many of reasons as referenced in the following community thread (ref:https://community.servicenow.com/thread/211383). They got the same error, but this was for Catalog. The macro is used and referenced by various plugins in different places.
But as Vab suggested, a HI ticket would help identify what the root cause may be.
Thanks,
Sandra
