unable to see the workflow

Hi,

I moved the workflow from one instance to another instance the workflow is in Application -  Client Software Distribution .

After moving i am not able to see any activity inside the workflow ?

Hi,

I figured it was probably via XML only, haha.

You'd want to ensure you have an assigned update set and it's set as your current. Then you can "check out" the workflow in your Dev instance, perhaps make a small change, even if you then change it back to what it originally was, then publish. This will allow the update to be captured in your update set.

Alternatively, you can use other ServiceNow "share" resources that will allow you to simply click "add to update set" and use that, but what I mentioned initially would be something you can do without adding a ServiceNow "share" resource to your instance.

Hi,

As Mark alluded to, if you perhaps merely exported the workflow via XML, for example, then you may be missing the activities associated with it.

It would be recommended to associate the workflow properly with an update set and use that to promote from one instance to another to ensure you've captured all components correctly.

You may also want to clear your instance cache, just in case by typing: cache.do and pressing enter in left-hand navigation.
