Hi,
I have the multi factor authentication plugin enabled, however this does not appear to work for a service portal based login, I just get the message:
However it does not give any means to actually enter the 2nd factor. This does work on the standard non-portal login, is there anyway to have it work within the service portal?

Hi,
This works only for internal users. we are using CSM and we need this multi factor authentication for external users in CSM portal. Is there any way to have it work for extenal users?

Hi,
Were you able to make it work for CSM users.
In our case for external users, when they go to enrollment page, they are not able to see QR image.
Thanks,
rushit

You probably want to take a look here.
This is a redirect so all user will go to [instance.service-now.com] and then this will redirect them to the Service Portal if they do not have any roles. You may be able to modify it if there are some roles you want to redirect.

Not sure if anyone figured this out but the wording in the error message is poorly written as to what the user needs to do to use the MFA code. The user needs to use their password plus the 6 digit MFA code from the Google Authenticator app.
For example if their password is letmein and the code is 066718 then letmein066718 would be the actual password to enter if MFA is enabled and setup is complete.
