Hey all,
I have a catalog item that has a container section set up in the following manner:
Container Name | |
---|---|
single line text1 | select box1 |
single line text2 | select box2 |
single line text3 | select box3 |
single line text4 | select box4 |
The problem I'm running into is, the select boxes in the column on the right are sitting slightly below the text boxes on the same row just to the left of it. The difference becoming greater with each row. See attached image for another example.
I'm seeing the select boxes are a bit taller than the text boxes and that is what is creating the misalignment. If that is the case, do I need to the adjust the field height in an on-load or is there a more elegant/permanent manner of fixing this?

Unfortunately changing the size of the variable and the column layout did not help.
I ended up placing each of the misaligned fields in separate containers, while not displaying the headers.

Hi Matthew,
The following knowledge article explains various ways to arrange variables in two columns:
ServiceNow KB: Determining if you are using the correct container variable (KB0539982)
I guess that depending on the approach there might be a slight diffence in alignment of variables. Thus if your container uses "2 column wide, one side, then the other" layout, you may want to try "2 column wide, alternating sides" instead (or vice versa) to see if it makes any difference.
