Can anyone help me understand what knowledge_manager role can do?
1. Can anyone tell me what knowledge_manager role can do?
2.What do you mean by administer knowledge bases?
I have seen the explanation of knowledge_manager role: "Can administer knowledge bases and request new knowledge bases for the knowledge_admin to approve"
I have tested with the user who have the knowledge_manager role and
found only access to the knowledge base which are available for the person.
And even when I click the knowledge base, all are grayed out.

Hi
As Knowledge Admin, you can create new Knowledge Bases, which you can address to Knowledge Managers to maintain. To create new KB, the Manager can (as you wrote) ask for new KBs to be created by the admin.
So, the Manager is a person, who is delegated by the Admin to keep and manage the ones that are assigned to him/her.
Does that make sense to you?
