What is the difference between MID Server Script Include and Normal Script Include? pros and cons please

Mid server script includes are executed in mid server in your company network.

MID Server Script Includes store reusable Javascript to run on MID Servers. ServiceNow synchronizes these scripts across all connected MID Servers

and normal script includes are executed in servicenow's server.

I found other difference like in mid SI we ms.log but in servicenow we use gs.log
