We just started setting up our knowledgebase and I have been looking at the Flag functionality. When I flag an article I know I can see the article and the comments in the Flagged module under Knowledge. I was not notified by e-mail that the article was flagged. Is there any notification that goes out to the Author or do we need to watch and monitor for flagged articles?

Hi Trisha,
Currently there are not notifications send out oob but you can create one on kb_knowledge table when the flagged is checked and mail to required recipients.
Thanks

Hi Trisha,
If I have answered your question, please mark my response as correct so that others with the same question in the future can find it quickly and that it gets removed from the Unanswered list. If you are viewing this from the community inbox you will not see the correct answer button. If so, please review How to Mark Answers Correct From Inbox View.

Hi Trisha,
By default there is no OOB email notification present that will trigger email whenever the Knowledge is Flagged. But you can achieve this by creating a new Email notification following the below steps.
1. Navigate to System Notification-->Email-->Notifications and create a new one as per below screenshot.
2. Set the Author as the recipient of the email as of below.
3. Provide your required Subject line and Email body under 'What it will contain' tab.
I hope this helps. Please mark correct/helpful based on impact

Hi trishlipe,
I'm glad that my last response helped you achieving your requirement.
If all your queries/requirements get resolved, would you mind making my Answer Correct and closing the thread. So that it can be tracked later by others in need.
