Email outbound and inbound setup

Hi All

Please guide as per new functionality that i have to configure Email outbound and Inbound setup for Email in servicenow so what are the best practices. Can we have to use SMTP because someone said SMTP 2.0 is latest. please suggest

If by SMTP 2.0 you mean setup SMTP in ServiceNow via OAuth 2.0, then yes go ahead.
