Hi,
We have a requirement that whenever a service now idea is raised, the correct product and process owners are contacted for their approval of the idea. I realise this happens at the Demand stage through stakeholders, but is there any way of getting some sort of automated approval in place before an idea is progressed?
In addition, is there a way of automatically adding in the correct approval based on business logic? ie An idea for the incident Mgt process should always go to the incident Mgr or incident team.
There is an approvals tab, but no workflow to trigger any of the process.

Yes, it possible but you'll need to build an approval flow in flow designer.

Hi Chaz,
We don't have any OOTB process for approval on idea.
I think you can create Flow designer or Business rule to trigger approvals on idea table.
