Hello,
Using a hybrid solution delivery approach to digital product management, I've defined multiple teams including the solution delivery team (Agile Development), the planning team (Agile Development/custom reports and dashboards), and the senior stakeholder team (project status reports and milestones in PPM and custom reports and dashboards), for example.
I would like to document the teams in ServiceNow including adding specific types of information about each team member's role, interests, and anything else that helps create clear understandings about them in the context of the product/initiative.
The need to do this became apparent when I onboarded/transitioned a new project manager to multiple complex, cross-team/cross-organization, multi-workstream initiatives. Since I didn't see any way to do it in ServiceNow, I ended up using a Word document to capture and provide him with relevant information.
While this method was less than ideal, it really helped with the transition. However, being able to capture that information at inception and update it when necessary will create much more of an integrated, proactive approach in terms of information and process, respectively.
Does anyone have any thoughts about how best to do this in ServiceNow?
