ITBM roles (Analyst, Planner, Worker)

Can someone shed some light on the breakdown of what each of the ITBM roles (Analyst, Planner, Worker) is used for exactly? I'm not able to find much out there. We're looking to migrate from HP-PPM which has a completely different licensing model. We would need to provide the number for each of the roles, which vary drastically in price. If anyone has gone through this, I would appreciate your insight.

We recently received this from a ServiceNow contact. My understanding is that these changes are relatively new. I don't believe this to be unique to us so thought it was ok to share here. If not, let me know and I'll remove it.

Well, after tearing this apart it seems that knowing the license structure is only 1/2 the battle.

There's really no way to reconcile existing *ROLE* structure in ServiceNow with the associated license implication.

Hi Robert, Others,

One year down the line, do we have a clarity on roles to license mapping, especially for ITBM. I might be missing something here. Some document or link I should refer to.
