Hi All,
Realised that there are tables known as Resource Aggregate Daily and Resource Aggregate Monthly in PPM.
There are multiple categories there - Availability, Capacity, Non-Project Time, Project Actual, Project Allocated, Project Confirmed.
Would like to know how are the number of hours/ number of FTE get generated for
- Availability
- Capacity
- Non-Project Time
- Project Actual - for this, I have tried clocking in timesheet against the project, however it is not shown.
- Project Allocated
- Project Confirmed
Thanks.

Let's break this down to see where things aren't working as you expect. Are you doing the following?
- Create a project
- Add a resource plan to the project and allocate
- Create a time card for the user on the resource plan, submit and approve
- The time card should appear in the related list of the project as processed and an expense line should be generated
- Navigate to the resource plan and you should see actuals
Also verify the time sheet policy Update actual hours and cost in resource plan/reports is enabled.
Please let me know if this is helpful and/or answers your question. Rae Ann

Hi Rae Ann,
Good article. Thanks for sharing.
I have question specific to Project Actuals - it is generated when time card task is a project, project task, story or project type demand.
However - I have tried clocking time card on project and submitted. Yet I do not see project actuals in resource aggregate monthly/ daily table.
Is there anything else needs to be done? Any background scheduled script?

Hi Rae Ann,
Tried checking the "Update actual hours and cost in resource plan/ reports".
We are finally seeing project actuals being generated in resource aggregate table.
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-platform-administration/page/administer/task-table/task/create-time-sheet-policy.html
Not sure why the option is not selected by default.
Thanks a lot.
Still have a lot more to learn in ITBM ServiceNow.
Cheers.
