Project Status Reports - how to pull past reports?

In the PPM module sets - either in the current release of Eureka or the upcoming Fuji - how would one go about creating a report that would cascade the past status reports for a given project into one view?

For example:   I can create a report to display on my dashboard that lists the current status breakdowns (RYG) for all of the projects in my portfolio.   What I would like to do is create a report for the individual PMs so that they have a view of the status reports created in each of the last [x] weeks for a given project.   Executives sometimes also want to drill into an effort and view the past reports, as well.

I am sure this is probably fairly simple, but I am stumped how to create a report (that can be dashboarded) that will show more than the current values on a status report.

Any ideas?

With the out-of-the-box reporting, it may be difficult. You can use Explore Analytics   to snapshot the data on a regular basis (Just by clicking Track Trend ) and then report against the data.

For example, here's an interactive report that shows the percent complete across the bottom, and a calculation ("Percent Complete" - "Target Percent") vertically, and animates over time:

Thanks Guy!   What I've been asked to provide is the comment data from each of the reports, as opposed to the trending info.   This is the information that seems difficult to find.   Any thoughts?

Hi Sonja,

You can also use the track trend to snapshot text fields (by running it on a list, instead of a chart). In that example, you would have a chart like this:

But if you're logged in, you can drill through to details, like this:

And the drill down details would look like this:

You could also just direct them to the list itself (this example is filtered on PRJ000001):

This is excellent information for the other reporting I will need to do.   I think I will still need to find a way to pull the status updates from a previous week to compare to this week's update - because I am still seeing the words from the current (not previous) update.   Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
