I need to set up Remote Catalog so that a request in the consumer instance triggers a catalog item in the provider instance, runs its flow/workflow, fulfills tasks, and updates the original request in the consumer.
Currently, I only see examples for Incident creation via Remote Catalog.
Am I missing any other configurations like remote task etc ?
Any guidance or best practices please?

You need to setup a provider instance with published remote record producers (catalog items) and/or remote task definitions, entitle them to consumer instances, establish the OAuth/connection and roles, ensure the consumer instance is subscribed and auto activates the remote record producers and remote task definitions (or manually activates them) and configure the field mappings / transforms so that the request raised in the consumer triggers the appropriate workflow on the provider side and then status updates or task results flow back to the original consumer request..........
